Welcome to the stoves’ lovers! On this blog, I share some of my favourite recipes. Those are inspired by other gourmet blogs and talented chefs, and adapted to my taste and local products.
I am French. I grew up in Brittany and now live in Trondheim. Living in Norway, I dare to prepare more complicated dishes. Here you cannot count on the local caterer or the patisserie open on Sundays. If you are fond of good food, you have to cook yourself…
I love sea food and salty food, but also desserts if not too sweet. “Bonnes choses”, good things, is often associated to the sweet memories that mark the childhood. For me, “bonnes choses” are mainly salty. I give room for “les autres”, the others, in my blog too.
I mix different languages, French, Norwegian and English. As I feel… Do not hesitate to ask for explanation.
I start this blog in 2013 as part of a MOOC course “Technology development and society change” held at NTNU in Trondheim. I mixed posts written for the course with recipes, but it did not really work. I lacked motivation for writing. Over 3 years later, as a contributor of the European project MyCyFAPP,I make a new try. MyCyFAPP develops a health self-management system, including a mobile app to support patients with cystic fibrosis. Cystic fibrosis is a genetic disorder that mainly affects the digestive system and lungs. It makes it difficult to absorb the nutrients from food. MyCyFAPP is looking for tasty, delicious, healthy and full of calories recipes. The project has therefore launched the cooking challenge #MyCookingFast. I started sharing some recipes on Facebook, and now intend to pursue here. You also you can share your recipes! Look at this video with guidelines.
